My quilting buds and I decided to take a break from quilting and enjoy a sunny summer day in the park.
As you can see, Sadie is considering what food might be near that picnic table off to the right and Norma is guarding her stick. Me…I am just relaxing in the shade, thinking about what
food flavor of ice cream is in the freezer!
Cutting was a breeze with the rotary cutter (after discussing safety rules, of course!) Let’s just say flip flops and rotary cutters were making me a nervous wreck!
The design wall was a hit…lots of mixing, matching and singing to those top 40 hits! They were in love with the blueberry fabric.
Looking good….sewing took a bit of time.
We had to test the “almost finished” project to make sure it was just the right size!
Good news! We finished the table runner in the nick of time! The TAGs and I are working on another project that I hope to show you soon!
Now, where was I before I got distracted by quilting?

Love TAG training camp! Nice job on creating more quilting addicts… 🙂
Yes, I do think they are hooked!
love the story of TAGs! the table runner turned out cute too but is more than a table runner:)
Yes, you are so right! Pillows are next…I am learning lots of new songs!
You and your TAGs did a great job on the table runner for the 4th of July! Did they quilt it as well? I am looking forward to seeing your next project. And breaks are definitely called for – that shade looks mighty inviting. Happy Tuesday! ~smile~ Roseanne
Hi Roseanne, this is Cindy! Yes, she did quilt the table runner by machine but I didn’t get a picture…we added home made fringe, too! Happy Wednesday!
I love that you are teaching your neighbors kids to sew/quilt! Kudos to you!
It’s really fun, and they are so creative! I get all the high school gossip and the latest scoop on movie stars!
