I did it! I met my deadline, I passed the buck and now the fabulous Ms. G has my son’s gradation quilt in hand. She is a hard-working, dedicated saint and she hopes to return it to me by Tuesday. Plenty of time for a Saturday gifting, right???
I couldn’t have completed this quilt without my mother and her little dog too, Winkle. Wink was my father’s dog and since his passing, she has started to see a lot of the world. She goes to baseball games, restaurants (yes, we are those people), tennis matches, shoe shopping and everything in-between. She’s in for piece-work too. And she makes a fabulous model.

I’ve got to stop writing now as I’ve got a quick business trip on Monday and Tuesday and I’ve got a binding to make and a house full of guests to plan for. Cindy and her family will be here Thursday night. She doesn’t know it yet, but I’m pretty sure that she’s going to be attaching binding. shhhhhh.
Yay for getting the quilt in time. I won’t tell Cindy about the binding party . . .
Congratulations on the finished quilt. Wink is adorable.
Hi Sandy! Yay you! I knew you’d get it done, and I am 100% certain that Cindy will be thrilled to have a hand in the graduation quilt. All that love that is being sewn into the quilt will be felt and received well. Enjoy the company, try to relax and have fun. ~smile~ Roseanne
Roseanne- thanks for the thoughts. I can’t believe we are finally here!
Hi Sandy, Congrats on the finish — can’t wait to see it! I’m sure Cindy will be happy to lend a hand with the graduation quilt. Enjoy your family ♥♥
Congratulations to your son and you. Enjoy the moment.
Okay, I can do the binding…anything for my sweet nephew! See you soon! I’m raiding YOUR stash this time…I need some reds and greens!
Congrats on the finish but I was totally distracted while reading this post by an exceptionally cute pup!
