Hello! It’s Cindy reporting in from Ohio and I am in a Bunny Baby Bind!
I am surely experiencing creative block because I’ve been ripping out seams for the new baby quilt I’m working on. I love this cute little bunny princess but she is turning into a bunny diva! The pile of scraps below is the result of my fussy cutting endeavor.
I’ve got several piles of coordinating 4 patch strips that will somehow fit into this quilt design.
I think I’ll step away for a few days and switch to a new project.
What do you do when creative block strikes?
Stepping away, and putting the project away for a while (however long THAT is) works for me!
Thanks, Diana! I think I will step away and work on another project.
Hi Cindy! That is going to be so cute! I power through. In stepping away, my project is likely to become a UFO.

Yes, you are right! This could easily become a UFO and the baby is due in late August. I can power through…maybe starting tomorrow!
I say a few choice words, and call my sister, who gives me a pep talk.
Yes, this is good advice!
Depending on the project, I either quietly and politely step away, or I put it in time out. Ha! Seriously though, giving myself a break for a bit often yields inspiration. My current diversion is pin cushions. One can’t have too many . . . right?
Thanks, Wendy! Bunny diva is heading to time out. Pin cushions are cute AND practical, one can’t have too many. My current diversion is pillows…one can’t have too many of those…right?
Hi Cindy! I do exactly what you’re doing – step away and put the project in time out. {{Hugs}} Its cuteness is worth coming back to, though. ~smile~ Roseanne
Haha! Time out…I love it! Yes…Bunny Diva is heading to time out!
Yes definitely take a break from that “Bunny Diva” and then you will return fresh 🙂
