Preface: There is no sibling rivalry in our family, but….
Body: After seeing Cindy’s recently completed Stepping Stones quilt, I’m a little jealous! Her quilt is beautiful and she made it quickly and without a lot of drama. Who knew that she was working on such a lovely pattern with those stunning fabric?
I, on the other hand, needed a virtual village to help me bring my red postage stamp quilt across the finish line. But never mind my pity party, because….
Conclusion: I am one step closer to completion. I visited the fabulous Ms. G. late last night to pick up the quilted project. She did an amazing job, as always.
Tonight I’ll attach the binding and begin the final bonding process with thimble and needle and thread.

P.S. I think I saw a UFO at the farm last night. Anyone want to hear the details? Do we think alien visitors would be pleased with a quilt as a welcome gift?
I cannot wait to see the virtual village quilt! I like both quilts, one because it looks fun and easy, and the other because I had a teensy part in it. You two make a good team with all of your talent!
Wendy — I couldn’t have done it without you!
Oh my goodness I cannot wait to see the completed red postage stamp quilt – I was glad to have my fabric scraps be a part of it! 🙂
T — I couldn’t have done it without you!
😀
The alien came down for that gorgeous red quilt!
LOL!
You and Cindy are individually talented and combine your skills to make a great team! I love your stories, insights, and musings. Can’t wait to hear about the UFO sighting!
The red postage stamp quilt is nearly complete. It’s been a fabulous journey we’ve been privileged to share with you both, and I’m not even a quilter (gasp). Thank you!
Linder — You are so kind! And I can help fix that “not a quilter thing”
Hi Sandy! Look – stop and LOOK at all that glorious redness right there. FABULOUS! A village didn’t stitch it, sweetie. You did all of that yourself – I cannot wait for the final reveal. I’m going to revisit Stepping Stone myself right now! ~smile~ Roseanne
