Our niece and her husband were expecting their first baby and they knew it was a boy. I came across the cutest baby blanket quilt in one of my favorite quilt shops. The fabric line is based on the book “Guess How Much I Love You” by Sam McBratney and Anita Jeram. I bought the kit and had so much fun making the blanket from these adorable wovens and flannels. I bought the book and added it to the gift package….it was a hit!
The pattern I used was designed by one of the quilt shop team members. It is called 4 B’s which stands for “Binding, Batting, Baby Blanket”. The finished size is perfect for a receiving blanket. It is also a nice size to lay on the floor with the baby and a few toys, under the watchful eye of mom or grandma of course!
It’s nice to have a pattern like this on hand. The blanket went together quickly and I got to practice some of my quilting stitches.
This was such a fun and fast project, I predict more will be in my future!
