Happy New Year! I have a basket of fabric that is first on my 2018 “To Do” list. My goal is to turn all this fabric into my own personal “pre-cut” stash by the end of this week.
As I was thinking about quilt designs with pre-cut sizes, I was contemplating holding off on cutting all this fabric (aka procrastinating) until just the right quilt design popped into my head.
My contemplation was met with a canine stare! It looks to me like canine quilt guilt from Norma, my Bearded Collie. Yep, I will get started on cutting this fabric right away!
Okay, okay! I will start in 5 minutes, I just need to get set up!
Norma, Norma, Norma — you are one of my favorite photo-bombers! I have three favorite precut sizes are: 1.5″, 2″ and 2.5″. I always cut 3″, 4″ and 5″ pieces, but alas, I have never used them!

Oh boy, those eyes are surely wanting you to do something. Perhaps not work on that basket of fabric but instead, play with me! Norma you make me smile today. I have been collecting 2″ squares. I’m not sure why that size though – I guess it was the biggest the first one could be made. ~smile~ Roseanne
Yes, it’s all about the eyes, isn’t it? It’s so cold outside that Norma has to stay inside until the weather warms up to a balmy 20 degrees! 2″ squares is a good size to collect…lots of possibilities!
Norma! Oh my goodness she gives “good face” – that is some serious “Canine Quilt Guilt” going on – awesome! She is such a cutie! Hope you have started the quilt otherwise you will have a hole burnt into your head from the staring 🙂

But the herder is super cute! I thought schnauzers were the cutest but I see bearded collies are pretty darn awesome too!
Norma is super cute AND super soft! She is a real character and that’s what we like about her!
